One of the best thing in this program is the opportunity to travel and experience others culture.

Bara Beach

In our first cultural tour we travel 7 hours just to see the beauty of bara beach. It was such a beautiful place, the sea is as clear as I see things that we will never be together with my lover again, outch that hurts…any ways, the time that I saw the place I immediately forgot all my pains and sorrows in life, all that I remember is that I’m in a great place and nothing can ever hinder me from enjoying it.

We played games and developed friendship. In all the games we played they wanted me to be the loser, I don’t know why, but they seems to be happy whenever I lose, and when they are happy, I’m happy also.

Before we went back to Makassar, we visited the ark maker place near the bara beach, we found that in making an ark it takes 13 to 16 months to finish one. We also got the opportunity to enter one of the ark that they are making, it was my first time to enter an unfinish ark. I’m just worried… what if the ark will sink😅,Oh… I’ve forgot we’re not sailing.

International Conference

The second week of our cultural tour, we got the opportunity to attend the first ever International Conference of Science and Technology in Elementary Education that was held in Makassar handled by UNM, where we were unexpectedly called infront and had been recognized by all. We are honored to witness such a successful event of UNM.

Malino Highland

We are now in our third week of our cultural tour, this time we travelled 3 hours to malino highland. This place is indeed a wonderful place, the air is so fresh and the wether is cold, it’s like Baguio City in the Philippines, they also have strawberry farm, flowers and beautiful views including me😊. One of my unforgettable experience in Malino highland was when I ride a very kind and beautiful horse for free, it was the courtesy of the owner that allows us to ride his horse, thank you so much pak😊.

Ramang Ramang

This time was the last trip that we have in Makassar. Actually, this one was not encluded to our çultural tour because we’re going back to the Philippines the day after this day, but because of the courtesy of SD telkom school faculties and Head master, they prepared a fairwell trip for us, they treat us to Ramang Ramang, it’s a small province in South Sulawesi, where beautiful views are seen.
